Homdaeng is a viral baby hippo that was born at Sisaket Zoo in thailand. Because this hippo got so much attention, there was a name contest to find the future name. Hom Daeng means red onion. The little red onion won the contest on November 1st and was given the name Hom Daeng as a result.
